Hello everyone.  Just to provide a bit about myself.  I have had dogs around me in my family since I was two years old.  Everywhere I went I would gravitate to any animal I saw. 

When I was a child our family had an Old English Sheepdog who was my entire world.  Later when my husband and I started our life together we adopted two cats from the local humane society.  After they passed away we got a gorgeous tri coloured Rough Collie.  She was the one who got me started with dog grooming.  She had an immense coat that when I was done brushing her we had another collie beside her!  Our family now has a Moyen Poodle as well as another Rough Collie except this time we have a sable.

Anyone who has a Poodle or a Poodle mix knows how much work and investment this type of coat takes.  The hair mats very easily. Also with those dogs who have undercoats, they also require frequent brushing in order to release the dead fur and keep the skin healthy.

Throughout the years I have been helping family members and friends with the grooming of their dogs.  In January of 2022 I made the leap to open myself up to starting a small business in dog grooming.  I took the Pet Grooming course through ICS Canada and am now a Certified Pet Groomer!

I am still learning many techniques and appreciate you all giving me the opportunity to grow my skills.
